Growing your Internal Capability

Business transformation is not an event or a one time exercise. In today’s world, it is an ongoing process. We do not know what the future will hold, but we do know that it will be different. We know that change is constant and accelerating. Being able to change quickly, successfully and to desirable futures is a survival skill.

You do not want the risk or dependency on an outside agent. We provide a comprehensive world class programme of training for your internal staff, so that they grow all the necessary competencies to support your first and subsequent transformations. This typically extends over 20 months, with a one day workshop per month on an appropriate and timely topic. This can be attended by up to twelve (12) of your staff. Following the tuition, guidance is provided on how to apply the techniques within your enterprise.

A light measure of consulting assistance is provided to assist the trained internal personnel to plan and apply the techniques in your environment. Our seasoned consultants will review the work done to provide guidance and quality assurance.

Your staff will be further guided and assisted by provided and proven frameworks, methods, models and techniques which we have evolved over decades and with scores of clients in successful projects. These provide a quick start and enhanced rigour, as well as improved compatibility and interoperability with industry partners and solutions. Examples include:

  • Enterprise and Business Architecture Frameworks

  • Integrated meta models to ensure all relevant aspects are covered and that the resultant models integrate well - our industry leading Holistic Architecture Language forms the backbone

  • Maturity assessments to pinpoint areas of concern and focus, as well as provide guidance on next steps

  • Techniques which address how to do the analysis, synthesis and design activities as well as how to manage risk, drive the program of work and assure quality

Making it Easy, Rigorous and Sustainable

The package includes provision of our leading software as a service platform, Enterprise Value Architect (EVA), pre-configured with the relevant frameworks, reference models and templates that you will need. We host the solution so that you can be up and running as soon as you have assembled your team and assigned roles. The solution is available over the web, so all they will need is network access and a modern web browser. Collaboration is enabled and information is easily shared across and beyond the core team, regardless of location. Don’t worry about security; there is a full role and group based model that is very comprehensive.

 

Affordability

The package can be tailored, but a typical scenario is given below to give an idea of just how affordable this can be.

  • Training of up to twelve (12) personnel (can vary from month to month depending upon role and assigned tasks)
    Full day workshop each month over twenty (20) months

  • One day of senior consulting assistance per month included. This will typically be used to assist your staff in planning, resolve queries as they apply the techniques and quality assure outputs produced. Additional days available by arrangement

  • Remote live delivery of training and consulting via video conferencing included (In person delivery: add travel and subsistence for instructor, if required)

  • Repository and toolset access for up to 6 personnel with full update rights. Access in read only mode for up to 60 personnel. Toolset will be provided populated with relevant frameworks, meta models and reference models for industry (if applicable). Tool administration, software updates and support, and online backup service are included

The cost of the full service as detailed above is quoted at USD 3800 per month, exclusive of local taxes (if applicable).
Following the programme, repository service can be continued for a monthly fee of USD 600 per month.
